I'm out of the web log loop right now because I have been traveling to different cities: Charlotte and now Raleigh. I'll try to keep up though.
I-RAN should RUN and hide! Iran claims now that they are not looking to build nuclear weapons, they simply need nuclear power for the rising demand. This sounds great until the WMD Grand Opening that I'm sure Iran will host once their nuclear program is complete.
That said, now I must prepare to go to Raleigh. Have a good weekend.

I can understand why Iran would want to have nukes.
1. It's a great way to collect cash from the civilized world....Bribes
2. Maybe they really do want to nuke the West....No one's ever accused them of being logical.

What I don't understand is why the Ruskies sell to them.
I realize they are the world's biggest whore's, but Russia is so close to Iran......I can't imagine the Mullahs would have any loyalty to the Ruskies, and can easily see them taking a shot at Southern Russia, and if they get a little more range taking a shot at Moscow

I've said it all along, I want our troops in Iraq so they can have a staging area for Iran.
I know this is unpopular, but I'm a realist......We don't need Fort Dix, Coronado Naval Station, Luke AFB or Camp Pendelton to be protected. --> We need our troops in the mix. Not hanging out here sitting on their thumbs.
We need a permanent, large force in the Middle East....Get a full nuclear fleet in the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean, and beef up the troop numbers in Iraq.
And I don't want to hear any BS about Americans occupying the Holy Land........Screw them. They invited us in by bombing the WTC, the Cole, Kobar Towers, etc. --> That's the only invitation we should ever need.
If the Mullah's get stupid, we end Persian Civilization........And anyone else who wants to play.
A thorough ass kicking is the only thing these people understand.....They have no respect for decency and diplomacy.

Pero: I think that you are right regarding our soldiers. I am so thankful that they are willing to sacrifice themselves for us because it appears that the Road to Ending Terror may have its roots end in Iran (meaning some major battles).
Cabe: It seems that it is going to blow up in their faces. I wonder how many citizens of Iran crossing their fingers in fear that their government is making the wrong decision.
